Memorial Spray of Flowers from Salute to Veterans Corporation will be placed at the
Memorial at Columbia Regional Cemetery to Honor and Remember our Fallen Heroes Patrick Kelly Connor, USN and
Stephen Paul Farnen, USA. We have not forgotten. |

Wreath Laying at
Veterans Memorials
9:00 AM to 9:40 AM
25 wreaths will be placed at the Memorials to the Veterans of the Civil War, WWI,
WWII, Korea, Vietnam , Desert Storm & the War on Terror at the Boone County Courthouse. This event will include a brief speech by a distinguished Veteran,
the playing of Amazing Grace by the Boone County Pipes & Drums, a Firearms
Salute by the American Legion Honor Guard and Taps. |

Salute to
Veterans Memorial Day Parade
The route for the 10:00AM Salute to Veterans Parade on Memorial Day, is
down Broadway, turning North (right) on 10th Street; left on Rogers and right on 8th
Street to disband in the large parking lot beside Columbia College Athletic Field. |

Salute To The
Armed Forces Celebration
Immediately following the Salute to Veterans Parade the US Army Parachute Team, The Black
Daggers, will jump into the Columbia
College Athletic Field to kick off
the Salute To The Armed Forces Celebration. The Columbia Community Band plays, the Honored
Guests are introduced to the crowds. Wreaths will have been placed at the Memorials to the
Veterans of WWI, WWII, Korea and Vietnam at the Courthouse and at the Desert Storm
Memorial at the Columbia Cemetery. The Salute to the Armed Forces Celebration
will bring to a spectacular end the 6-day Salute to Veterans Celebration. |
